Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum three years of office experience
- At least one year of medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance systems
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD coding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Strong communication skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to work independently
- Compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Three years of office experience required
- One year medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HMO, PPO, medical insurance industry, and general clerical procedures
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/10 coding system
- Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system
- Self-directed and able to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Professional, calm, and courteous demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience with EPM and EHR systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA and HIPAA

Job Duties
- Follow office policies, procedures, and protocols as appropriate
- Communicate effectively with other staff members
