Job Description
Our organization is a leading radiology provider dedicated to advancing patient care through cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence. We are committed to offering the very best in patient care, leveraging decades of expertise to lead radiology forward. Our team-oriented environment fosters dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities, emphasizing the importance of people as the core element of our success. We strive to create a better healthcare experience by aligning all stakeholders — patients, providers, payors, and regulators — to achieve the best clinical outcomes in the 21st century.
As a Patient Service Representative joining our team, you will become part of a dedicated group of professionals performing vital functions that ensure quality, value, and accessible healthcare services. Your role involves being the welcoming face of the organization, greeting and registering patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner. You will be responsible for obtaining or verifying insurance and patient information, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, and collecting co-pays and fees with professionalism and efficiency. Handling incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with back-office staff are crucial components of the role to facilitate timely and effective patient care.
Moreover, you will play an essential part in patient orientation by providing preparatory and safety protocol information, as well as assisting patients with directions to various facilities when needed. The position demands a high degree of respect and sensitivity to patient boundaries, cultural differences, and the safeguarding of confidential patient health information. You will also safeguard medications and company property in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses strong multitasking and communication skills. You will be expected to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism in all interactions, showing empathy and diplomacy while dealing with patients, their families, and colleagues. The ability to nurture cooperative working relationships and uphold the organization's standards is key to success in this position.
Offering a competitive pay rate of $23.00 per hour, we provide comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings accounts with employer funding, and wellness dollars to support your wellbeing. We also offer a 401(k) employer match and free imaging services at all our centers for you and your immediate family members.
Joining us as a Patient Service Representative means being part of a progressive organization that values your contribution and supports your professional growth in healthcare. This full-time position is perfect for those passionate about customer service within the medical and radiology fields, seeking a rewarding career where technology meets compassionate patient care.
