The role in question is focused on providing front desk support and patient service excellence within the dermatology offices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth office operations by handling patient registration, insurance verification, fee explanations, and service payments. They will be the face of APDerm to patients during check-in, responsible for creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere in the waiting areas, maintaining an efficient phone response system, and supporting overall office duties. A key priority includes maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction by addressing inquiries, facilitating communication, and assisting general office responsibilities as needed.

Job Duties

  • Registers all patients and checks insurance information as well as other demographics
  • Keeps waiting room free of expired magazines, litter, and keeps organized
  • See that the phone is answered before the third ring and in a friendly manner
  • Explains all fees and patient financial responsibility, collect fee for services
  • Ensure patient satisfaction
  • Assist in general office duties and other duties as required
