Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • one year of customer service experience preferred
  • ability to travel between locations as required
  • availability Monday to Friday including early morning or late afternoon shifts
  • adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols
  • ability to work onsite in Austin and surrounding locations
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum one year of customer service experience preferred
  • knowledge of insurance policies and authorizations
  • ability to handle fast paced work environment
  • proficiency in appointment scheduling
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Answering phones
  • scheduling appointments for multiple locations and doctors
  • knowledge of insurance policy types and authorizations
  • pleasantly greets all patients and visitors
  • patient check-in and check-out
  • enters patient demographics, charges and payments with accuracy
  • verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
  • managing referrals and referral authorizations
  • knowledge and management of pre-certifications
  • confirming appointments
  • executing recalls
  • upkeep of reception and waiting area
  • office supply ordering
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • required to travel to other locations
  • fast learner
  • other duties as assigned
