Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- one year of customer service experience preferred
- ability to travel between locations as required
- availability Monday to Friday including early morning or late afternoon shifts
- adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols
- ability to work onsite in Austin and surrounding locations
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication skills

- knowledge of insurance policies and authorizations

Job Duties
- Answering phones
- scheduling appointments for multiple locations and doctors
- knowledge of insurance policy types and authorizations
- pleasantly greets all patients and visitors
- patient check-in and check-out
- enters patient demographics, charges and payments with accuracy
- verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
- managing referrals and referral authorizations
- knowledge and management of pre-certifications
- confirming appointments
- executing recalls
- upkeep of reception and waiting area
- office supply ordering
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- required to travel to other locations
- fast learner
- other duties as assigned
