This full-time, hourly position is based out of Pioneer Materials West in Centennial, Colorado. The salary typically ranges from $26.06 to $33.85 per hour, with starting wages varying based on experience, education, training, and other factors. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment
Strong Microsoft office skills
Ability to handle physical workload
Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team
Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results
Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of troubleshooting
Must be able to position self to stand, bend, turn, squat and use hands for 80% of the time
Must have sufficient strength in arms to effectively use hand tools
Frequently moves mechanical equipment weighing over 50 pounds
Must be able to problem solve, prioritize tasks, manage stress, multitask, receive and analyze information
Must demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Job Duties

Inspect belts, hoses, and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation
Perform lubrication, light service, electrical, and preventive maintenance services
Conduct and validate equipment inspections for safety
Refer heavy-duty repairs to designated Repair Service Company
Keep records of repairs and report to assistant
Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment
Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
