Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results
- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of troubleshooting
- Must be able to position self to stand, bend, turn, squat and use hands for 80% of the time
- Must have sufficient strength in arms to effectively use hand tools
- Frequently moves mechanical equipment weighing over 50 pounds
- Must be able to problem solve, prioritize tasks, manage stress, multitask, receive and analyze information
- Must demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

Job Duties
- Inspect belts, hoses, and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation
- Perform lubrication, light service, electrical, and preventive maintenance services
- Conduct and validate equipment inspections for safety
- Refer heavy-duty repairs to designated Repair Service Company
- Keep records of repairs and report to assistant
- Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
