The Meat & Seafood Manager role at Market of Choice is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the meat and seafood department. The position starts at $24.00 per hour and can go up to $27.50 per hour depending on experience. This role involves supervision, scheduling, and training of all Meat Department employees, ensuring that all duties within the department are organized and executed efficiently. In addition to operational leadership, the Meat & Seafood Manager will ensure compliance with health and safety sanitation requirements, maintain accurate product pricing and labeling, and assist with inventory management including logging and processing invoices. This role requires a thorough understanding of meat cutting and processing techniques, paired with the ability to foster employee development through training initiatives.
