The Meadows of Napa Valley is currently inviting applications for the position of Servers, available in both full-time and part-time capacities. The compensation for this role ranges between $17.00 and $18.50 per hour, depending on experience, with full-time shifts scheduled from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., alongside various part-time shifts available to accommodate a range of schedules. Job Requirements
- Valid Food Handlers card
- Ability to work full-time or part-time as per schedule
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday for full-time roles
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with elderly residents respectfully and compassionately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Valid Food Handlers card required
- ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet and seat residents and guests promptly and courteously
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu guidance and answer questions regarding ingredients and preparations
- Ensure clean and organized dining areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to enhance the dining experience
- Handle resident requests and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist in setting up dining rooms for meals and special events
