Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Knowledge of McDonald's operational standards and quality control
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Availability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week including open and close shifts
  • Willingness to be on call during hours of operation

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and restaurant profit and loss
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in employee training and development
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Lead a team of assistant managers, swing managers, and floor supervisors to run a profitable restaurant and lead a high level of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Assist all managers with their own goals, follow up on their progress, and provide feedback to improve their performances
  • Adhere to McDonald's quality, service and cleanliness standards and food safety standards set by McDonald's and the State Health Department
  • Conduct weekly team meetings discussing department opportunities and progress
  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings
  • Oversee and manage the restaurant profit and loss to hit monthly goals
  • Lead the people department manager ensuring communication of hiring needs, ongoing training, employee retention, and reviewing all people scorecard metrics
  • Conduct administrative duties including employee documentation, weekly reporting, and payroll
  • Review operational metrics daily and create evolving actions plans to improve operational metrics
  • Responsible for hitting monthly labor goals including approving hours added, overtime, and creating effective crew schedules
  • Make practical restaurant decisions including hiring, firing, and handling employee raises
  • Available to work a minimum of 45 hours a week
  • Must be available to work open and close shifts
  • Must be on call during hours of operation
