Job Requirements
- Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Routine standing for duration of shift
- Safely maneuver hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys, and other kitchen tools

Job Duties
- Develop and promote a learning and nurturing environment for restaurant team members focusing on culinary techniques and service success
- Maintain appropriate staff levels based on projected sales and business needs
- Foster open and authentic communication with restaurant teams and senior management
- Manage employee performance proactively in partnership with General Manager and HR to ensure policy adherence
- Stay updated on current food trends through vendor partnerships
- Assist Executive Chef with daily, weekly, and monthly specials and menu development
- Minimize employee turnover by effective hiring, orientation, coaching, and performance feedback
- Facilitate implementation of company learning and training programs and monitor skill transfer
- Ensure achievement or exceeding of kitchen financial goals including food cost, efficiencies, labor costs, and expenses
