Job Description
Village Green is a prominent property management company specializing in residential apartment communities. With a commitment to excellence and resident satisfaction, Village Green operates award-winning communities that provide comfortable, secure, and engaging living environments. The company prides itself on its dedication to customer service, innovation, and community partnership, setting a high standard in the residential real estate industry. Village Green's reputation is built on the foundation of professionalism, inclusivity, and respect for diversity, making it a desirable employer and landlord in the market.
The Concierge role at Village Green is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic and customer-focused environment. As the first point of contact for residents and guests at the community, the Concierge plays a vital role in enhancing the overall living experience. The position offers a competitive hourly pay of $19, along with quarterly bonuses up to 15%, reflecting the value placed on exceptional performance. Working on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, the role requires a flexible, service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
In this role, the Concierge will be responsible for greeting residents and visitors warmly, providing information on local amenities and community attractions, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position also involves assisting with leasing by conducting mini tours and handling guest cards during off-hours, making it integral to the leasing process and resident engagement. Attention to detail, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a professional demeanor are essential traits for success.
Beyond traditional concierge duties, the individual will manage the lobby environment, ensuring that it is welcoming, clean, and well-stocked with relevant materials such as magazines, transportation schedules, and community brochures. Utilizing the internet to assist residents and guests with information requests is also part of the daily responsibilities. Handling packages, incident reporting, and adherence to fair housing policies reflect the comprehensive nature of this role.
Village Green emphasizes teamwork and communication, expecting the Concierge to collaborate effectively with coworkers, management, residents, and vendors. This role demands excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a sales and marketing acumen to contribute to the community’s leasing and image positively. Village Green is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion, and requires background checks and drug testing as part of its hiring process, ensuring a safe and trustworthy work environment.
