The role offered is that of a Marketing and Events Coordinator, a crucial position within the Catering and Events Team designed to coordinate and execute weddings and special events that exceed client expectations. This position involves working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring personalized and seamless event planning. The coordinator collaborates extensively with various vendors such as florists, caterers, photographers, and entertainers to deliver a cohesive event experience. A key responsibility includes managing event timelines and schedules to ensure that every detail is executed smoothly, contributing to flawless event delivery. Partnering with the Banquet Manager, the role oversees the complete setup and breakdown process of events, guaranteeing high standards of quality and organization.

Further, the Marketing and Events Coordinator will play an active role in customer service by promptly addressing client concerns and maintaining detailed records and documentation for all functions. This role also entails creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to effectively communicate event requirements with other operational departments. Responsible for invoicing, payment collection, and follow-up, the coordinator ensures financial accuracy and client satisfaction. On the marketing front, this position involves developing marketing content such as social media posts and advertising copy, coordinating meetings with marketing partners and executives to discuss campaigns, and analyzing marketing data to create insightful reports. Staying abreast of marketing trends and optimizing digital platforms via SEO research also form part of the role. The coordinator will work closely with the PR company to maximize event exposure and brand visibility. Job Requirements

  • Accurately invoice, collect payment, and follow up with any outstanding balances
  • Create and maintain marketing content such as ad copy or social media posts
  • Coordinate meetings with marketing partners and executive team members to discuss campaigns
  • Update and gather marketing data to create reports and present significant information
  • Attend team meetings to discuss upcoming sales goals and initiatives
  • Monitor marketing trends and company social media accounts and webpage
  • Conduct search engine optimization (SEO) research
  • Work closely with the PR company to ensure maximum exposure
