Delaware North Parks and Resorts is currently hiring Market Deli Prep Cooks for seasonal, full-time positions at the Grand Canyon National Park. As a Market Deli Prep Cook, your primary responsibility will be preparing various food items while adhering strictly to company quality standards and safety protocols including ServSafe procedures. You will ensure all food products are properly labeled, dated, wrapped, and stored to maintain freshness and safety. Your duties will also include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold health codes and sanitation regulations. You will perform opening, closing, and side work duties, contributing to an efficient kitchen operation in a fast-paced environment. This role requires steady physical activity such as standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working safely with kitchen knives and small equipment. The ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and follow detailed instructions is crucial for success in this position.

Job Requirements
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
- constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity
- exposure to and use of chemicals to clean and sanitize
- awareness of kitchen hazards such as cuts, scrapes, burns, and scalds
- availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- willingness to reside in provided employee housing if required
