Job Requirements

  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity
  • exposure to and use of chemicals to clean and sanitize
  • awareness of kitchen hazards such as cuts, scrapes, burns, and scalds
  • availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • willingness to reside in provided employee housing if required

Job Qualifications

  • prior food preparation experience preferred but not required
  • ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
  • proficiency in safely using kitchen knives and small equipment
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • physical stamina to meet job demands

Job Duties

  • properly measure, portion, and prepare all food items in compliance with quality standards and procedures
  • maintain food, utensils and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • label, date and wrap food products, adhering to ServSafe procedures
  • perform opening, closing and side work duties as instructed according proper guidelines
  • follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations, cleaning and safety procedures
  • coordinate multiple food preparation orders efficiently
  • assist team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations
