The Restaurant Manager role at Bloomingdale's represents a significant opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that supports the culinary side of a premium retail experience. This seasoned management position involves overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations within the store, guaranteeing excellence in service, ambiance, and product quality. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the full spectrum of restaurant duties, including scheduling, compliance with attendance policies, purchasing food and supplies, managing catering services, handling payables and receivables, developing and executing P&L plans, and creating enticing menu promotions. This hands-on leadership position requires a strategic yet adaptable approach to managing resources and personnel in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Candidates for this role must bring 3 to 5 years of full-service restaurant management experience and demonstrate the ability to lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams effectively. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are essential for success. The Restaurant Manager will engage closely with customers to ensure they receive outstanding service and a consistently high-quality dining experience that complements Bloomingdale's brand. Culinary experience and bilingual abilities, specifically conversational Spanish, are considered valuable assets. The position demands physical stamina, including prolonged standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • culinary experience a plus

  • ability to manage restaurant operations independently
  • ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment
