The Manager, Partnership Sales role sits at the heart of Oak View Group’s efforts to build and sustain corporate partnerships that enhance the value and reach of Acrisure Arena and its affiliated sports franchises. This full-time position carries a salary range of $85,000 to $95,000, with additional performance-based bonuses, recognizing the direct impact this role has on the overall revenue goals of the organization. As a key member of the sales team, the Manager, Partnership Sales is responsible for generating new business revenue by engaging local, regional, and national companies to secure sponsorships that span intellectual property rights, experiential marketing, media, branding, signage, hospitality, events, and promotions. This comprehensive role demands a strategic sales professional with a passion for live entertainment and proven success in cultivating and managing valuable client relationships.
Reporting to the department head, the Manager collaborates closely with the leadership teams of Oak View Group, Acrisure Arena, and both the Firebirds and Lakers front offices. The individual in this role is tasked with developing integrated sponsorship packages that create meaningful partnerships aligned with business objectives. Beyond sales, this position also emphasizes client servicing, contract fulfillment, and the execution of partnership agreements alongside various departments including marketing, legal, accounting, community relations, and ticket operations. The Manager is expected to proactively support teams across these functions to ensure seamless delivery and activation of sponsorships, enhancing partner satisfaction and long-term retention.
This is a dynamic role requiring excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. The Manager must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and attending events to network and represent the organization at various corporate and public functions. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience
- 3-5 years of sales experience with emphasis in team sports, media, and/or sponsorship sales
- Proven ability to develop and manage corporate partnerships
- Strong prospecting and communication skills
- Demonstrated success meeting sales objectives
- Comfortable managing tight deadlines
- Strong professional relationship and negotiation skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience with Salesforce or KORE CRM preferred
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel and attend events as required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience
- 3-5+ years of sales experience emphasizing team sports, media, and/or sponsorship sales
- Proven track record of developing and managing strategic corporate partnerships
- Strong prospecting, analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated success in meeting challenging sales objectives in competitive marketplaces
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and meet aggressive sales goals
- Strong professional relationship skills

- Experience with Salesforce/KORE CRM preferred

Job Duties
- Establish new business relationships to achieve annual revenue goals for Acrisure Arena, the Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey team, and the Coachella Valley Lakers basketball team
- Conduct cold calls to secure appointments for selling to new prospects among local and national companies
- Analyze marketing needs of prospects based on partner objectives, market strategies, category potential, activation potential, and financials
- Support and collaborate with national, regional, and on-site local management
- Present proposals effectively to individuals and large groups
- Develop long-term business partnerships between clients and the properties
- Communicate across legal, accounting, marketing, community relations, and ticket operations departments
- Work with Acrisure Arena’s Box Office, Event Services, Marketing, Food and Beverage, and the Firebirds Front Office to ensure superior service and contract fulfillment
- Develop sales action plans to meet budget goals including new cash partnerships
- Create and sell partner packages related to special events and concerts
- Prospect, sell, cultivate, and maintain corporate sponsorships for the venue in both new and renewal business
- Facilitate execution of corporate partnership fulfillment
- Report and track partnership inventory
- Create and present annual recaps for corporate partners where applicable
- Service corporate sponsorships via direct contact, newsletters, corporate partner gatherings
- Create and present integrated marketing packages using traditional, digital, and non-traditional marketing channels
- Attend events, promotions, and corporate sales events for OVG, Acrisure Arena, Coachella Valley Firebirds, and Coachella Valley Lakers
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
