The role of Parking Services Manager at University Health involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of parking services across assigned campuses. This position is responsible for managing a variety of parking facilities, including garages, surface lots, and any affiliated locations. The Parking Services Manager ensures that all operations run smoothly and efficiently, prioritizing safety and a customer-first approach. Duties include supervising parking staff, overseeing enforcement activities, managing revenue controls and parking access technologies, coordinating valet and shuttle services if applicable, and handling permit administration. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, hospitality management, transportation, operations management, or related field preferred
- minimum of five years of experience in parking operations, transportation, hospitality, customer service, facilities operations, healthcare support services, or related environment
- prior supervisory or management experience mandatory
- experience managing parking revenue and access control systems preferred
- excellent communication and leadership abilities
- ability to coordinate with multiple internal departments
- knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in parking operations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, hospitality management, transportation, operations management, or a related field preferred
- five years of experience in parking operations, transportation, hospitality, customer service, facilities operations, healthcare support services, or related environment required
- prior supervisory or management experience required
- experience with parking revenue systems and access control technologies preferred
- strong customer service and leadership skills
- familiarity with regulatory standards and safety compliance in parking operations
