Job Description

Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to excellence, diversity, and delivering memorable guest experiences. At the forefront of this tradition is the Autograph Collection, a distinguished portfolio of four and five-star independent hotels that stand out for their quality, originality, and bold character. Each hotel within the Autograph Collection offers unique and memorable experiences tailored to the traveler who seeks individuality and adventure. These hotels are carefully selected to appeal to The Individualist, a traveler who views each journey as a part of their personal story rather than merely a stopover. By joining the Autograph Collection, employees become part of a world-renowned brand under the Marriott International umbrella, which values diversity, inclusivity, and provides a vibrant, supportive environment where associates can thrive and grow professionally.

This full-time, management-level position is located at one of the Autograph Collection’s prestigious hotels in Newport Beach, California. The role supports the successful execution of all hotel operations within departments such as Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping. It requires managing teams effectively while striving to continuously improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the hotel operations department. With an attractive pay range of $31.25 to $38.46 per hour, plus eligibility for bonuses, this opportunity offers a rewarding career path in hotel management within a top-tier hospitality brand.

The core responsibilities of this role include ensuring that operational goals are clearly communicated and understood by the team, analyzing guest and employee satisfaction to develop targeted improvement strategies, and ensuring that hotel standards and procedures are meticulously followed. This position requires a proactive approach in addressing guest concerns and employee needs while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times. Team development is a critical aspect, involving coaching staff to better understand and exceed guest expectations and assisting with scheduling and productivity management to align with occupancy and service benchmarks. Additionally, the role supports maintaining key control programs, managing profitability through audits and financial reviews, and publishing guest satisfaction metrics to ensure transparency and continuous feedback.

As part of Marriott International’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment, this position welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, including those with criminal histories, as consistent with applicable laws. The organization fosters an inclusive culture where the unique perspectives of all associates are valued. Joining this team means becoming part of an amazing global network of hospitality professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences while growing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Be where you can do your best work, begin your purpose, belong to an amazing global team, and become the best version of yourself at Marriott International and the Autograph Collection.
