The company fosters an environment that promotes diversity, professional growth, and a culture of collaboration, making it a top choice for professionals seeking to contribute to transformative business solutions with a global impact.
The position of Manager, Meeting & Events Management at Mastercard is integral to the company’s Events Management team. This role is focused on creating world-class experiences for clients by delivering exceptional event execution, sophisticated hospitality, and innovative experiential design. The Manager will oversee the planning and execution of high-profile internal and external programs, such as executive meetings, prestigious Board of Directors events, gala dinners, and highly curated cultural and experiential engagements. This opportunity suits a candidate with a keen eye for sophisticated design and an in-depth understanding of both classic and contemporary event aesthetics.
The role demands a hospitality professional deeply connected to the culinary and events landscape, particularly with a strong knowledge of the luxury restaurant scene and global hospitality trends, especially in New York City. The ideal candidate is creative and trend-conscious, able to introduce fresh and unexpected elements into events while maintaining an elegant and timeless appeal based on project needs.
The Manager must possess a blend of visionary creativity and hands-on operational excellence. They should be adept at problem-solving, anticipating challenges, and utilizing cutting-edge technology, including AI tools, to enhance creativity, efficiency, and productivity in event planning and execution. This role requires seamless collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders, demonstrating superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
The work location requires a minimum of three days per week at Mastercard’s Purchase, NY office, with travel expected for site visits and event execution, including evenings and weekends for major programs. Compensation for this role ranges from $125,000 to $207,000 USD, reflecting the seniority and expertise required.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define event objectives aligned with business goals and brand standards. You will lead comprehensive event planning efforts, curate hospitality experiences that stand out in the competitive market, and ensure flawless event logistics. Budget management, vendor negotiations, and operational efficiencies are key components of this role, along with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an innovative mindset. The role also embraces the use of AI and emerging technologies to continuously improve event processes, enhance attendee experiences, and drive organizational excellence. Travel domestically and internationally will be an essential aspect of this job, ensuring premium experiences at every touchpoint and delivering top-tier service to VIPs and executive attendees.
This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic, solutions-focused event management professional to join a globally recognized organization, contribute to defining experiential marketing standards, and thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced environment that rewards innovation, cultural connection, and meticulous execution.
