As a retailer with deep-rooted values in customer service and community connection, Macy's fosters an inclusive and dynamic environment for its employees, encouraging growth and development at every level.
The Foods Manager role at Macy's is a key leadership position dedicated to managing a professional, efficient, safe, and profitable food operation. Prioritizing team development, the manager delivers ongoing coaching and recognition to reduce turnover and foster a positive work environment. The position requires attention to detail in monitoring food quality, sanitation, payroll, scheduling, and inventory control. Candidates should be prepared for a physically demanding job that involves heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and a flexible schedule to meet department and company needs. Macy's emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating a collaborative workplace where acceptance, respect, and authentic connections among colleagues, customers, and communities are paramount.
