The role of Manager, House, at Flaget Memorial Hospital is a pivotal position requiring operational leadership and administrative oversight to maintain the daily functions and safety of the facility during assigned shifts. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of science nursing science and minimum of 3 years RN experience
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership RN-charge experience or equivalent leadership capabilities approved by executive leadership
  • Registered Nurse license in Kentucky upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years RN experience
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience such as RN-Charge
  • Registered Nurse license in Kentucky
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months

Job Duties

  • Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served
  • Supervise assigned professional, technical, and clerical staff to ensure quality of work
  • Manage workflow to ensure delivery of quality patient care
  • Implement and support quality improvement activities
  • Develop staffing patterns and ensure availability of qualified staff
  • Orient, train, direct work, evaluate performance, and assure clinical competency of staff
  • Handle emergent situations and resolve interdepartmental operational issues
