The role of Manager, Franchise Operations at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is a vital position within the Franchise Operations team. This role is based remotely in the United States and involves up to 90% travel, with a flexible work schedule to support engagement with franchise owners and hotel properties primarily in the Dallas, Texas area. The Manager, Franchise Operations is responsible for nurturing and maintaining trusted relationships with franchise owners by understanding their unique goals, needs, and challenges. The Manager is also responsible for driving Net Revenue Generation (NRG) through retention and development initiatives while collaborating with various internal stakeholders to align efforts and deliver results. Accountability is a key aspect of the role, which involves thorough documentation, follow-up, and system reporting to track progress and impact on Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' profitability.
This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure, including extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines. The Manager must be prepared for significant travel and onsite visits, which include interior and exterior property environments such as multi-level hotels, restaurants, pools, and exercise facilities. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, drive long distances, and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, and pulling while inspecting properties. Job Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field
- Preferred property and corporate management experience
- 4 year college degree preferred
- Multi-property experience required
- Industry certifications preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to stand for approximately 50% of the day
- Ability to sit and drive long distances for approximately 75% of the week
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, push and pull during property inspections
- Willingness to travel 90% with flexible work schedule
- Ability to work under pressure with extended hours when needed
Job Qualifications
