Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related area
- Ability to lead teams effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints
- Willingness to work full-time on-site at Renaissance Dallas Hotel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Knowledge of banquet operations and event service standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage budgets and departmental inventories
- Familiarity with health and sanitation standards
- Experience in human resource activities including performance management
Job Duties
- Direct and motivate banquet and event services teams
- Monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, event planners, and technology teams
- Schedule and manage staff shifts to meet service standards
- Conduct function room inspections to ensure room setups meet client specifications
- Handle guest complaints and encourage team to provide excellent customer service
- Conduct associate performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback
