Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related area
  • Ability to lead teams effectively
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site at Renaissance Dallas Hotel

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Knowledge of banquet operations and event service standards
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and departmental inventories
  • Familiarity with health and sanitation standards
  • Experience in human resource activities including performance management

Job Duties

  • Direct and motivate banquet and event services teams
  • Monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff, event planners, and technology teams
  • Schedule and manage staff shifts to meet service standards
  • Conduct function room inspections to ensure room setups meet client specifications
  • Handle guest complaints and encourage team to provide excellent customer service
  • Conduct associate performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback
