The position being offered is a full-time Management role within the Event Management category, based on-site at Renaissance Dallas Hotel. This role commands a competitive salary range between $56,000 and $75,000 annually with eligibility for bonuses, reflecting the importance of leadership in the hotel's banquet and event services team. As an Event Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing banquet operations, guiding staff, and ensuring seamless execution of events. You will play a hands-on role in managing supplies, enforcing operational standards, and maintaining sanitation to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all guests. Financial oversight is critical to this role, as you will monitor budgets and administrative responsibilities, including asset protection.
Clear and concise communication is vital, requiring the ability to coordinate effectively among various stakeholders including the kitchen, event planners, and technology teams, assuring every event is successful and meets the anticipated outcomes. This role goes beyond the logistical elements and delves into team leadership by identifying training opportunities, setting goals, delegating tasks, and coaching employees toward continuous improvement.
Your leadership will extend to fostering lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and growth. You will actively participate in month-to-month departmental meetings, lead shifts in event servicing, and embody the spirit of excellent customer service, helping the hotel maintain its reputation as a premier event locale.
A crucial part of the role involves human resource activities such as conducting performance appraisals, enforcing company policies fairly and consistently, addressing associate concerns, and promoting a positive team dynamic through an open-door policy. Engagement with staff and associates will help ensure all members understand their responsibilities, safety protocols, and performance expectations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related area
- Ability to lead teams effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints
- Willingness to work full-time on-site at Renaissance Dallas Hotel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Knowledge of banquet operations and event service standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage budgets and departmental inventories
- Familiarity with health and sanitation standards
- Experience in human resource activities including performance management
Job Duties
- Direct and motivate banquet and event services teams
