This particular role is for a Food Service Manager who plays a vital leadership role in managing dining operations that serve prepared foods to customers from a menu. The Food Service Manager position is a management role responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions that meet customer needs and tastes, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a cafeteria or residential dining facility setting. It involves leading teams through coaching and engagement, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, overseeing client relationships, managing financial performance including profit and loss statements, and driving productivity and compliance.
As a Food Service Manager at Aramark, you will use Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members, recognizing and rewarding performance to build a motivated workforce. You will plan and lead daily briefings to ensure team performance aligns with client expectations and company objectives. This role requires maintaining a safe and healthy environment following all applicable policies and regulations, and overseeing the front of the house in collaboration with the Food Service Director.
You will be responsible for ensuring financial performance targets are met, including managing budgets, understanding performance metrics, and educating your team on ways to optimize margins by monitoring orders and inventory. Job Duties

- Bring value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
- Follow the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives
- Ensure entire team is trained and able to implement
- Supervise team regarding production, quality and control
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees
- Follow all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour
- Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/Residential Dining Facility) in conjunction with the Food Service Director
- Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer
