Job Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain all necessary federal, state, and Virginia Lottery licenses and certifications
- Must pass background check
- Must pass drug screening
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Prior experience opening new properties or outlets preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years dining experience in supervisory capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in restaurant management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
- Experience managing high-volume restaurant or bar
- Understanding of safety and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with computer systems related to food and beverage service
- Knowledge of various restaurant positions
- Knowledge of food preparation and service etiquette
- Familiarity with wines and alcoholic beverages
- Ability to present professional and enthusiastic image
- Strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose the casino for gaming entertainment
- Act as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service
- Open and close shifts ensuring outlets are prepared and secure
- Maintain front of house ordering, inventory levels, and bar layout
- Ensure team member training and compliance with standards
- Monitor alcohol sales and quality
- Support late-night casino volumes
- Organize training with vendors for service refreshers
- Monitor guest service and satisfaction through interviews and observations
- Resolve guest complaints
- Inspect food outlets daily for safety and supplies
- Attend and participate in meetings
- Perform work regularly and predictably
- Handle other duties as assigned
