The role of Clinical Risk Manager at UF Health Jacksonville is integral to maintaining and improving the safety and quality of care delivered to patients. This full-time onsite position, located in Gainesville, FL with a Monday through Friday schedule, focuses on leading patient safety investigations, reducing organizational risk, and driving quality improvement initiatives. The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for proactively identifying potential risks and adverse events within clinical settings and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks effectively. Engaging with multidisciplinary teams including legal, quality, claims, and patient safety departments, this role requires a keen analytical mindset and a strong foundation in healthcare risk management principles. This position also entails collaboration with clinical and operational leaders to ensure that safety policies are not only implemented but also embraced across the organization. Candidates for this role should be equipped with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, a strong background in healthcare risk management or related fields, and proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office tools. This position presents an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the health system's safety and risk management infrastructure, ultimately protecting patients and supporting organizational goals.
