The role of Assistant General Manager at Dacha Beer Garden is an exciting leadership position that plays a critical part in the overall success of the beer garden's operations. The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of the beer garden, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that every guest receives top-notch service. Your emphasis on the "Dacha Experience" focuses on creating an atmosphere that radiates hospitality and comfort, known in German as "Gem\u00fctlichkeit." You will be responsible for training employees to maintain high standards, testing their competencies to ensure excellent performance, and hiring the right hourly staff to keep the front-of-house running seamlessly.

Moreover, the Assistant General Manager leads the team by maintaining a positive and motivating work environment where performance excellence is encouraged and recognized. In addition to your supervisory duties, you will support the General Manager by assisting in the planning and successful execution of private events, which are vital to the business's growth and customer satisfaction.

Candidates seeking this role should possess a Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience in Food and Beverage, along with a minimum of four years of experience in the hospitality industry. Proven management experience, preferably in a high-volume and/or fine-dining setting, is essential to succeed in this position. The role demands strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle sensitive and complex communications with discretion and clarity.

Physical demands include the ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds, along with working on your feet for extended periods. Additionally, the role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of the hospitality schedule.

Maintaining an active ABCA manager license and Department of Health food manager license is mandatory for this position. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively identify and resolve problems.
