The role centers around general management responsibilities that include hiring and training a dedicated and capable team, ensuring that every member meets the restaurant’s high standards of five-star hospitality and guest service. A key focus of this position is maintaining stringent food quality standards and service execution while providing strong leadership to both staff and fellow managers. Candidates must be committed to upholding the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation as evidenced by a requirement for Serve Safe certification.

This position demands a manager with astute financial acumen, specifically a deep understanding of EBITDA and PACE numbers, which are critical to maintaining operational profitability and efficiency. Additional responsibilities involve managing the physical aspects of the restaurant, including knowledge of facilities, equipment, and repair and maintenance procedures, ensuring the smooth functioning of all operational facets.

Ideal candidates will have at least three years of general management experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry, showcasing the ability to lead teams, manage costs, and drive sales growth. While familiarity with industry-specific software like Excel and Aloha point-of-sale systems is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The company values practical experience and leadership skills over formal education, as no specific educational background is required for this role.

The general manager is also expected to be hands-on, capable of performing hourly duties when necessary to support the team and maintain the restaurant’s standards.
