CoreCivic is currently seeking a Maintenance Worker for its Community Corrections division. This role is integral to maintaining the facility’s infrastructure and ensuring that all building systems and equipment operate smoothly and safely. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various structural elements and systems within the facility, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles, and grounds. The position demands a hands-on individual who is adept at diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and implementing repairs that promote a secure and functional living environment for residents.

The position offers two pay options: one includes medical benefits with a wage of $24.99 per hour (comprising $23.50 per hour base pay plus $1.49 for every 40 hours worked), along with paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and a 401K plan; the other option offers a higher wage of $28.59 per hour with no medical benefits but includes PTO, paid holidays, and a 401K plan.
