Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance
- Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to use mobile devices and applications
- Current driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds and operate maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform frequent physical activities such as climbing, stooping, and kneeling
- Availability to conduct occupancy checks and attend eviction lockouts or setouts
- Ability to provide basic hand and power tools
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance or related building maintenance
- Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems
- Ability to perform general repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, minor HVAC, and appliances
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort using mobile devices and applications
- Possession of a current driver’s license and automobile insurance
- Ability to be at work regularly including weekends and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Completing maintenance service requests across multiple trades
- Providing excellent customer service and promoting a quality living experience for all residents
- Completing regular proactive maintenance visits in residents' homes to perform maintenance and repairs
- Educating residents regarding maintenance topics
- Conducting general property condition assessments and alerting property management of urgent issues
- Reviewing technician-specific reports to identify improvement opportunities
- Performing repairs in vacant properties during the turn process
- Properly using and caring for company-supplied tools, materials, and vehicles
- Performing other duties as assigned
