Job Requirements
- 2+ years of related multifamily or hotel maintenance experience
- HVAC/EPA certification required
- Fair Housing training required
- Willingness to obtain CPO and CAMT certifications within a reasonable timeframe
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to perform physical maintenance tasks including troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
- Ability to work on-call hours as needed
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn property management software systems after hire
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of multifamily/hotel maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general carpentry
- HVAC/EPA certification
- Fair Housing training
- CPO and CAMT certifications or willingness to obtain after hire
- Experience with MS Office Suite including Word and Outlook
- Ability to learn and use makeready schedule, Payables Nexus, and Yardi software
- Strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury community ensuring a quality living experience for residents
- Utilizing advanced troubleshooting and technical skills to resolve HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pool, and security system issues
- Developing rapport with residents and assisting with maintenance issues including appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, and drywall
- Assisting the Service Supervisor with preparing makeready schedules and inspecting makeready units to ensure they meet leasing standards
- Placing orders with approved vendors for supplies and equipment
- Helping maintain strong curb appeal at the property
- Occasionally being on call to handle urgent maintenance needs
