Job Description

McDonald's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant franchise known for its quick service, consistent quality, and iconic menu offerings such as the Big Mac and fries. With thousands of locations worldwide, McDonald's operates as a fast-paced, customer-focused restaurant that values teamwork, efficiency, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This particular opportunity is with an independently owned McDonald's franchise that operates under the McDonald's brand but makes independent employment decisions.

The Maintenance Crew Member plays a critical role in ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly by performing essential cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance tasks. This full-time position follows a defined schedule from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a requirement to be available on Sundays and Wednesdays to receive and stock truck deliveries. The Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for maintaining the facility's operational integrity and cleanliness, including indoor cleaning, outdoor power and window washing, equipment maintenance such as grill and fryer cleaning, and safety system checks.

This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn on the job. While prior experience is not mandatory, the ability to follow schedules and safety protocols is crucial. The Maintenance Crew Member will collaborate closely with the Facilities or Maintenance Team Lead to address any arising issues promptly. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders, reflecting the hands-on nature of the job.

Working at McDonald's franchise offers unique opportunities beyond typical maintenance work. Employees benefit from extensive training programs, tuition assistance, and opportunities for advancement within the organization. The restaurant environment is dynamic, providing daily opportunities to contribute to operational excellence and provide excellent customer experiences indirectly through maintaining the restaurant's environment. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, reliability, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized restaurant facility.

In addition to competitive pay, employees enjoy an array of benefits such as paid vacation, team-building activities, and employee discounts. The work culture encourages growth, with manager training programs that can lead to college credit and substantial tuition assistance programs, including fully covered tuition at Colorado Technical University and financial aid for other educational pursuits. Employees can also access telemedicine services, enjoy predictable schedules, same-day pay, and various bonus incentives.

Joining the Maintenance Crew at McDonald's franchise means being part of a team dedicated to keeping one of the world's most famous brands running at peak efficiency. This role is key to supporting daily operations by ensuring all equipment functions properly, cleanliness standards are met, and safety systems are regularly checked and maintained.
