The company also supports its employees through various programs like BV Cares, which assists team members facing unexpected hardships, thereby emphasizing its commitment to staff well-being and satisfaction.

The Maintenance Assistant role at Belmont Village Senior Living is crucial to the upkeep and smooth operation of the community. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work closely with the Building Engineer, assisting in all areas of general maintenance across the community and grounds. This role requires knowledge and prior hands-on experience in general maintenance, including basic plumbing, drywall patching, and painting. The ideal candidate is reliable, diligent, and empathetic, taking pride in their work and demonstrating exceptional hospitality skills tailored to the senior living environment. This position requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, physically active setting, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and maintain a growth mindset to contribute positively to the community and its residents.

The role offers full-time work from Tuesday through Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM, as well as part-time options on Sunday and Monday from 9 AM to 5 PM, catering to flexible scheduling needs. Maintenance Assistants play a key role in performing preventative and routine maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing repairs, drywall fixes, painting, and general community upkeep. They are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in common areas, keeping exterior sidewalks free of debris, and assisting with trash removal as needed. Another essential duty is completing apartment make-ready processes efficiently and with attention to detail, ensuring that all living spaces meet the high standards of the community before new residents move in.

Beyond technical skills, Maintenance Assistants actively support resident needs by completing assigned maintenance work orders, assisting with internal moves, and helping set up and clean up special events. This role requires prioritizing hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction in every interaction, ensuring the community remains an inviting and supportive environment for seniors to thrive as they age. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the quality of life for senior residents while developing valuable maintenance skills in a dynamic setting.
