Machine Operator/Digital Finisher - 2nd shift

The role of Press Digital Finisher, offered on a full-time basis during the second shift hours (Monday through Friday, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm), is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of top-quality product labels to customers. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, the Press Digital Finisher is responsible for safely and efficiently operating finishing machines that convert post-press materials into completed products according to detailed job ticket instructions. Key functions include precise machine setup for cutting and rewinding to exact customer specifications, maintaining optimal machine performance, conducting and documenting quality checks to meet internal standards and customer expectations, and performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with strong math skills capable of understanding metric and standard measurements and conversions. An ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-moving production environment is essential. Press Digital Finishers are expected to work both independently and as part of a team while adhering to strict safety and company operational procedures. A clean and organized workspace must be maintained at all times.
