Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is actively seeking part-time Bussers to join their dynamic team at TD Garden, located in Boston, Massachusetts. TD Garden stands as New England's premier sports and entertainment arena, serving as the iconic home to the NHL's Boston Bruins and the NBA's Boston Celtics. It boasts hosting over 200 events annually, attracting more than 3.5 million visitors from all over. This venue includes multiple full-service bars and all-inclusive food options, notably in the Cross Insurance Boardroom, where guests can enjoy gourmet appetizers, desserts, a carving station, brick oven pizzas, and much more. Delaware North has been a vital part of this historic venue since purchasing the original Boston Garden in 1975, continuing to operate and manage both TD Garden and the neighboring Hub on Causeway. As an extension of a family-owned business with over 100 years of history, Delaware North provides not just a job, but a legacy of growth and global opportunities in the hospitality industry, spanning across restaurants, hotels, gaming, sports, and more.

This part-time Busser position at TD Garden is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and who take pride in providing exceptional guest service. The role demands excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to the changing needs within the dining area swiftly. As a Busser, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room, resetting tables after guests have departed, and assisting with the overall flow of service to ensure a premium dining experience. This includes removing dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses between courses and working closely with management to support daily assignments during pre-shift briefings. The position requires physical stamina, involving constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the ability to carry trays weighing up to 35 pounds while maneuvering quickly and safely between tables and around corners.

The role is a tipped position, with an hourly wage starting at $15.10, exclusive of any tips earned. Delaware North values the wellbeing of its team members by offering a comprehensive benefits package which includes weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules. The company strongly emphasizes inclusivity and equal opportunity employment, ensuring that all applicants are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any legally protected status.

Joining Delaware North at TD Garden offers more than just a part-time busser job; it provides an opportunity to be part of an established, respected global company with deep roots in hospitality and entertainment. Whether you are looking to begin a career in hospitality or seeking a flexible role in an exciting environment that offers room for growth, Delaware North promotes a workplace culture where you can love where you work and grow professionally in one of the busiest and most renowned sports arenas in the country.
