Job Description

The Westin Galleria Dallas is a distinguished hotel located in the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas. Part of the renowned Marriott International family, the hotel is well-known for providing exceptional hospitality experiences through its focus on wellness and guest satisfaction. Situated at 13340 Dallas Parkway, this hotel is a hub for both business and leisure travelers, offering elegant accommodations, superb dining options, and unique service offerings designed to make every guest’s stay memorable. The Westin brand is dedicated to empowering guests to regain control of their well-being, with a mission to become the preeminent wellness brand in hospitality. This commitment is deeply ingrained in the hotel’s culture and reflected in the passionate engagement of its associates. Joining The Westin Galleria Dallas means becoming part of a global team focused on delivering wellness-centric experiences where associates are encouraged to embrace their own well-being practices both on and off the property.

The position available is for a Bartender, a critical role that goes far beyond the art of mixing drinks. This is not just a job about serving beverages; it is about creating memorable and unique social experiences for guests. The Bartender at The Westin Galleria Dallas is expected to be more than a beverage enthusiast—they are the hosts of the space, responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing the bar's atmosphere, and maintaining operational excellence throughout their shift. These professionals continuously stay updated on new trends and local micro-offerings to ensure that they are meeting the evolving needs of their guests. In this role, bartenders take ownership of the guest experience, maintaining high standards from crafting quality drinks to handling transactions accurately and providing detailed information to guests.

Bartenders will collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments and engage with the local community in order to anticipate guest needs and enhance their overall experience effectively. The position requires physical endurance as bartenders spend extended periods standing, sitting, or walking and often must move or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds. There are also safety and professionalism standards that must be upheld, including following company policies, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a polished personal appearance. This full-time, non-management role demands a proactive, hands-on approach where the candidate’s passion for delivering excellent customer service can shine. The Westin team seeks individuals who are not only skilled but also excited by the wellness-oriented mission of the brand, optimistic, active, and adventurous, ready to contribute to a dynamic and inclusive hospitality environment.
