The Busser role at Hof's Hut Restaurants is a vital position designed to enhance the overall dining experience by ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and efficiently maintained. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in supporting food servers and kitchen staff in delivering top-notch service. The Busser will be responsible for clearing and sanitizing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and keeping all dining room areas well-stocked with necessary items such as glassware, dishware, and condiments.

This role is physically demanding, involving continuous standing, lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally, and exposure to a fast-paced atmosphere with potential hazards. Job Duties

  • assist food servers by removing used or unnecessary items from guests' table
  • bussing tables and resetting for new guests
  • observing tables and keeping track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
  • clean, sanitize, and reset tables after each guest
  • maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware
  • refill condiment stock and condiments on tables
  • work in a team environment with the ability to be an effective team player
  • provide guests with hospitality in a manner that achieves company service standards and exceeds their expectations
  • clean, organize, and stock menus at the front desk
  • interact with guests entering and departing, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • keep designated service stations clean, well-stocked, and organized
  • maintain restrooms throughout the shift
  • support food servers and kitchen staff in other duties as required
  • take pride in personal appearance
  • report to work in neat and clean clothing
  • maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
  • display integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment
