Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods
Basic math proficiency
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Compliance with local, state, and federal beverage service laws

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine, and beer service
Ability to follow standard recipes with consistency
Basic math skills to total costs, process transactions, and make accurate change
Ability to provide guests with knowledgeable information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods throughout a shift
Manual dexterity to handle glassware, dishes, money, and bar merchandise quickly and accurately
Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and bar supplies as needed

Job Duties

Mix ingredients including liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other beverages according to standard recipes
Serve wine and draught or bottled beer to lounge guests
Collect payment for drinks served
make accurate change and process transactions
Order and requisition liquors and bar supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
Arrange bottled goods and glassware to create an attractive and organized bar display
Slice and pit fruit for drink garnishes as needed
Prepare bar snacks and appetizers such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats as needed
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing beverage service
