We are currently seeking a Full-Time Bartender to join our vibrant team in the lounge area. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as light meals to our valued guests. The Bartender will be responsible for ensuring that all drinks are served according to hotel specifications and in compliance with state liquor regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar, and managing stock and supplies efficiently. As a key front-of-house position, the Bartender will engage with guests, recommend menu items through suggestive selling techniques, and provide prompt and courteous service throughout their shift.

Job Requirements
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
- minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- 1-year experience as a server or barback preferred but not required
- good understanding of the English language
- certification in an alcohol awareness program
- certification in CPR
- ability to input and access information in property management system/computers/point of sale system

Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the assigned outlet
- maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
- obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
- always keep bank secure
- maintain complete knowledge of point of sale and manual systems
- greet guests and take their orders, utilizing suggestive and up-selling techniques
- input orders into system and ensure transmission is verified by bartender/kitchen
- monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of tables, service areas and outlet itself
- present guest checks and process payments
- adhere to all cash handling and credit policies and procedures
- clean and reset tables immediately after guests depart
- collect and report tips at the end of assigned shift
- use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and Hotel requirements
- complete all closing reports in the point of sale system
- legibly document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to manager
