Currently, Windsor Hospitality is seeking a Lounge and Banquet Server/Waitstaff at the Embassy Suites by Hilton located in Temecula, California. Nestled in the heart of Southern California’s picturesque Temecula Valley, this location offers a unique blend of vibrant community life, award-winning wineries, and a thriving local culture. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Temecula boasts 172 spacious and comfortable room suites, creating a family-friendly atmosphere that perfectly balances work and lifestyle. Its prime location provides easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreational activities, making it a favored destination for guests and a prime workplace for hospitality professionals.

The Lounge and Banquet Server/Waitstaff role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of banquet events and functions. The server plays a key part in delivering memorable guest experiences by providing attentive, efficient, and courteous service throughout each event. Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, the server helps maintain brand standards and ensures that every guest feels welcomed and valued. This role is especially crucial during peak seasons when event volume increases, requiring dedicated and capable team members who can support weddings, corporate meetings, and special events with seamless service.

Typical duties include event setup, service during functions, guest engagement, and assisting with event breakdown. Job Requirements

  • Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and guest service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
  • Reliable punctual and professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet and meeting spaces according to event orders including tables linens glassware and decor in alignment with brand standards
  • Provide warm professional and engaging service to all guests throughout each event
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner following proper service etiquette
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before during and after events
  • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to ensure smooth event flow
  • Assist with event breakdown and proper storage of equipment and supplies
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff supervisors and fellow team members
  • Follow all company policies safety procedures and health regulations
