This job opening is for a Lot Attendant position located at the Enterprise Mobility Latham branch in New York. This role is a local, non-CDL driving position where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to operate multiple new model cars. The Lot Attendant is essential to the daily operations of the rental facility, tasked with moving vehicles between the rental lot and the customer service area, managing vehicle registration and plates, and supporting other team members through leadership in vehicle delivery. This position is critical in ensuring that vehicles are where they need to be, in excellent condition, and ready to be rented to clients. Additionally, the Lot Attendant provides courteous and professional customer service, sometimes transporting customers, employees, or vendors safely and timely to their destinations.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.50 and employees are eligible for annual merit-based increases. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekends off. This role demands a responsible and proactive individual who can work outdoors under various weather conditions, maintain vehicle inventory accuracy, organize the lot efficiently, and ensure the security of keys and the premises. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles safely
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday schedule 7:30am-4:30pm
  • Capable of light physical effort including standing, walking and bending
  • Willingness to follow company safety and operational guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour
  • At least six months of prior work or organizational experience
  • At least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Inspect vehicles for damage using the damage evaluator tool
  • Ensure all vehicles are accurately tracked and signed for
  • Organize teams to complete assigned runs efficiently
  • Move vehicles between rental facilities and inventory lots as directed
  • Maintain vehicle inventory and lot organization
  • Manage keys and security measures
  • Act as point of contact for driver team and assist with miscellaneous job duties such as shuttling cars and data gathering
