The role of an Associate within HelloFresh's Logistics Operations Center is pivotal in supporting the enhancement of transportation strategies that streamline shipping processes. This position involves managing transportation scheduling, tracking line hauls, negotiating spot market freight, and handling exceptions to ensure smooth shipment execution across the logistics network. Reporting directly to the Associate Manager or Manager, the Associate is responsible for monitoring outbound loads, executing outbound strategies across distribution centers, and maintaining high service level metrics, including on-time departures and arrivals.

This role requires a detailed and analytical approach, as Associates will be tasked with root cause analysis of escalations, real-time data analysis for contingency plans, and managing the daily Exception Management process aimed at minimizing impacts on customer experience. The Associate works cross-functionally to optimize operational efficiency and supports projects that improve the delivery network. Building relationships with third-party carriers and guaranteeing load security based on demand forecasts is also a crucial responsibility.

The work schedule involves a specific shift from Sunday to Wednesday, 7am to 5pm CST, and may require flexibility for non-standard hours including weekends or overnights.
