The Logistician role supports a Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) reporting directly to the Deputy Secretary of Defense. This role centers on aligning authorities and resources to rapidly deliver Joint Counter Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) capabilities to America’s warfighters. The Logistician is a key player in defeating adversary threats and ensuring sovereignty over national airspace by providing senior-level logistics expertise and integrating plans across all phases of the sustainment and acquisition lifecycle. This full-time, regular position requires an active Secret security clearance and involves up to 10% travel within the continental United States.

In this role, the Logistician will interface with multiple military and civilian agencies including ASAALT, AMC, LCMC, ATEC, AEC, CASCOM, MCOE, and PAE's/CPEs. The position demands proficiency in life cycle logistics processes outlined in DoD acquisition and sustainment policies, such as the DoD 5000 series and Army regulations AR 70-1, AR 700-127, and AR 700-142. The incumbent will produce acquisition logistics documentation, manage capital assets, and employ enterprise logistics automation tools like GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP. Leadership, communication, and risk management competencies are essential, as the Logistician will direct activities of various stakeholders to support strategic planning and life-cycle management functions.
