Job Description
Texas Roadhouse is a vibrant and dynamic restaurant chain renowned for its legendary food and exceptional service. Founded with a people-first philosophy, Texas Roadhouse is more than just a place that serves steaks; it is a community-centered brand that prides itself on creating an engaging, fun, and rewarding work environment for its employees, known affectionately as 'Roadies.' The company’s mission revolves around delivering an unforgettable dining experience through quality food, hospitality, and a lively atmosphere. This is reflected in their commitment to a culture that supports personal growth, teamwork, and an unwavering dedication to service excellence.
As a Local Store Marketer (LSM) at Texas Roadhouse, you will be at the forefront of connecting the restaurant with its local community. This role offers the unique opportunity to utilize your creativity and networking skills to build strong relationships within the community, ultimately driving sales and enhancing guest loyalty. The LSM will work closely with the Managing Partner and restaurant management team to conceptualize, develop, and implement local marketing initiatives that emphasize the brand’s strengths and promotions. The aim is to increase guest counts, improve check averages, and elevate overall sales performance.
This position involves a variety of responsibilities such as promoting in-house events like Great Steak, Rib Fest, and gift card campaigns, which are critical to maintaining the engagement of loyal patrons and attracting new guests. You will also be instrumental in nurturing partnerships with local businesses, hotels, radio stations, and civic groups by participating in community activities and food and bread runs. These efforts not only bolster Texas Roadhouse’s presence in the community but also help position the restaurant as a local leader committed to giving back through charitable and community events.
The role also encompasses assisting with public relations tasks that include media interactions and publicity events, further amplifying the restaurant's visibility and reputation. Effective communication is essential in this role, as the LSM will regularly update the Managing Partner, management team, and all employees on ongoing marketing programs, plans, and results, fostering a cohesive and motivated team environment.
Texas Roadhouse values its Roadies and invests heavily in their growth and well-being. The company offers flexible work schedules, competitive weekly pay, employee discounts, recognitions, and formal training programs. After one year of service, Roadies who meet eligibility requirements gain access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes best-in-class medical plans, dental and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation time, various insurance options, identity theft protection, employee assistance programs, and more.
Joining Texas Roadhouse as a Local Store Marketer means becoming part of a team that celebrates personal achievements, encourages creativity, and nurtures a spirit of community both within and outside the restaurant. This role is perfect for proactive individuals who enjoy building meaningful connections and crafting innovative marketing strategies that contribute to the continued success of Texas Roadhouse locally. If you have a passion for marketing, a knack for networking, and a desire to be part of an award-winning team, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact while developing your skills and career in the hospitality industry.
