Job Requirements
- Must have a valid non-CDL with F endorsement
- Must possess a current DOT medical card
- Ability to start as soon as possible, preferably by Monday
- Must be able to work early shifts starting at 4:00 am
- Availability Monday through Saturday with 10-12 hour shifts
- Comfortable driving automatic transmission trucks
- Must wear uniform shirts and safety shoes provided or approved
- Capable of returning company equipment such as phones, fuel cards, and pallet jacks upon employment termination
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in local delivery or logistics is a plus but not required
- Non-CDL driving with F endorsement and valid DOT medical card
- Familiarity with pallet jack operation or willingness to learn
- Ability to work early morning shifts and long hours
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle light physical labor associated with freight handling
Job Duties
- Drive local routes servicing restaurants and retail stores including dollar stores
- Handle produce deliveries using pallet jacks and two-wheelers
- Complete unloading and touch freight ensuring careful handling
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks including fueling and fluid inspections
- Participate in a 1-2 week training period with an experienced driver
- Use provided phones, clipboards, and fuel cards properly and return if leaving the company
- Maintain neat and timely paperwork
- Adhere to customer service standards and company safety policies
