Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid Class A or B CDL license
- Have a Hazmat endorsement or be willing to obtain it upon job offer
- Possess at least one year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT requirements
- Demonstrate physical capability to lift 25 to 75 lbs regularly and up to 125+ lbs with equipment
- Be physically capable of frequent bending, walking, standing, and operating vehicle for up to 8 hours daily
- Maintain a clean motor vehicle record
- Possess strong time management and independent working skills
Job Qualifications
- At least one full year of verifiable Class A or B CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or recent graduate from an accredited driving school
- Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
- Clean motor vehicle record
Job Duties
- Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hardgoods along designated routes
- Collect empty cylinders from customers
- Record transactions and obtain signatures
- Address customer inquiries ensuring satisfaction
- Handle loading and unloading of products
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections noting issues and ensuring safety compliance
- Maintain professional appearance and upkeep of vehicle condition
