The Lobby Receptionist position within the Consumer and Community Banking-Wealth Management team offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. This role, situated within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, emphasizes delivering an exceptional welcoming experience in the lobby. As the first impression specialist, the receptionist is responsible for creating a warm and professional atmosphere by providing concierge-level service, managing check-ins, answering queries, and facilitating smooth office operations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-facing position, values attention to detail, and enjoys supporting a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities include maintaining security protocols, issuing temporary building access, coordinating events and visitor management, and supporting special service improvement projects. The position demands flexibility and professionalism, requiring availability for early mornings or late evenings to meet business needs.
The job is full-time, requiring five days per week in the office (Monday through Friday) with no hybrid work options. Compensation includes a competitive base salary reflective of the candidate’s experience, skills, and location. Eligible employees may also receive commission-based pay or discretionary incentives in cash or equity for outstanding contributions. Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in high-end reception, concierge, hospitality, or client-facing services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, welcoming presence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and manage varied personalities while remaining professional and composed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to work across different locations throughout the campus as needed
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcome, register, and check in clients and visitors arriving for meetings and events within the JPMA office lobby/reception area
- Provide concierge-level support by answering questions, giving directions, and sharing relevant office information
- Support employees as needed (e.g., facilitating temporary access/badges when building access support is required)
- Follow all building and security procedures to maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment
- proactively escalate issues using a 'see something, say something' approach
- Deliver first-class service by consistently exceeding lobby reception standards and anticipating needs
- Prepare for daily activity by reviewing scheduled meetings and events using event and visitor management systems
- Collaborate with partner teams (various JPMA partners from different regions and headquarters) to enhance the overall in-office and visitor experience
- Complete miscellaneous tasks and service-improvement projects that raise team standards and support operational excellence
- Maintain schedule flexibility, including early mornings or late evenings as business needs require
