This job opportunity is at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. This franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's logos and food products, which they employ daily in running the restaurant. However, this franchisee operates as a separate company and a distinct employer from McDonald's USA. Should you be hired for this position, your employer will be the franchisee and not McDonald's USA. All employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are handled solely by the franchisee. McDonald's USA does not exert control over these employment matters and will not receive your employment application or participate in any hiring decisions.

This role is for a Lobby Person, a vital member of the restaurant team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests. The Lobby Person performs various tasks on a daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis, ensuring the lobby and customer-facing areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Specifically, responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms hourly while restocking supplies, keeping lobby area tables, chairs, condiment stands, and all furniture clean and sanitized, including trash cans. Weekly tasks involve deck brushing floors and baseboards, while hourly duties also include cleaning windows and ledges, as well as drink and condiment areas inside and out.

Additional duties involve taking out the trash regularly, cleaning trash cans both inside and outside on a scheduled basis, and keeping the parking lot clear of debris before and after rush periods. The role also requires stocking and preparing the area for each shift according to operational needs. Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including cleaning and lifting
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts including peak hours
  • Basic understanding of sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environment beneficial

Job Duties

  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms hourly keeping stocked with supplies
  • Cleaning and sanitizing lobby area tables, chairs, condiment stand and all other furniture including trash cans
  • Cleaning and deck brushing floors and baseboards weekly
  • Maintaining cleanliness of windows and ledges hourly
  • Clean and sanitize all drink and condiment areas including under the cabinet and floor area
  • Taking trash to corral as needed and cleaning inside and outside trash cans on regular schedule
  • Travel path picking up parking lot before and after each rush period
  • Stock and clean area for each shift according to your needs
  • Greeting guests and refilling drinks daily
  • Voice surveys 10 per week
  • Maintaining outside grounds
  • Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, trash cans and housing, stock rooms and restrooms
  • Clean and sanitize drink nozzles 2 times a week
  • Take out and empty trash compactor
  • Change light bulbs
  • Clean parking lot and surrounding area of debris
