The role of a Lobby Ambassador at Marriott Vacations Worldwide is pivotal in cultivating a welcoming and memorable environment for Owners and guests. As the first point of contact, the Lobby Ambassador is responsible for delivering warm greetings, facilitating seamless connections with marketing executives, and providing detailed information about property amenities and local attractions. This role is integral in enhancing the guest experience while supporting the marketing efforts to drive site volume. You will be entrusted with maintaining a pristine and well-stocked lobby area and promoting the brand's image with professionalism and enthusiasm. Lobby Ambassadors also play a significant role in supporting the operational flow of the lobby during peak periods and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety procedures.

Job Requirements
- Successful candidates will be highly motivated with sales or customer service experience
- Available to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Position may require background and drug screening in accordance with state and local requirements
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior sales or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
- Basic knowledge of local areas and property amenities desirable
Job Duties
- Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests
- Utilize tools to seamlessly screen targeted customers and connect them to a Marketing Executive
- Supply Owners and guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities
- Ensure proper coverage and execution throughout the lobby as directed and maximize interactions during peak arrival periods
- Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
- Assist with any additional strategies to drive Marketing efforts and Site Volume
- Take inventories and ensure all desks in the lobby are stocked with appropriate levels of supplies and collateral
