Within this exciting environment, the Living Room is a glamorous night-only venue characterized by its exquisite cocktail selections, crave-worthy small plates, and an eclectic wine collection. It also offers an enchanting atmosphere enhanced by nightly curated live music and artistic design elements intended to inspire and captivate guests. The role of Living Room Barback is essential in maintaining this high standard of service. The Barback supports bartenders by managing bar operations, including restocking liquor, preparing garnishes, ensuring cleanliness, and anticipating the needs of the bar staff and guests before they arise. This role demands proactive engagement, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting. The Barback contributes to the seamless, uninterrupted delivery of beverages and helps create a welcoming and efficient bar environment conducive to memorable guest experiences.

This is a full-time position paying $18.00 hourly plus tips, ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and ready to contribute to a luxury nightlife destination. Candidates should expect to work in an energetic and elegant atmosphere that prioritizes guest satisfaction and cultural sophistication.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in a bar or high-volume restaurant environment preferred
  • Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Safety Certification required or obtainable prior to start
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing and moving
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a bar or high-volume restaurant environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of spirits, mixers, and bar tools
  • High level of initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction quickly and remain composed under pressure
  • Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Safety Certification required or obtainable prior to start
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, and bar supplies throughout service
  • Prepare fresh garnishes, juice, ice, and tools ahead of shift start
  • Maintain bar organization and cleanliness to health and safety standards
  • Remove empty bottles and trash discreetly and consistently
  • Assist bartenders with replenishing glassware, napkins, and service tools
  • Keep bar backstations organized, clean, and accessible
  • Ensure the bar is guest-ready at all times with polished presentation
