Specifically, hosts are responsible for running high-energy live selling shows nearly 24 hours a day, on varied schedules to meet operational demands. They must prepare products and technical setups before each stream to ensure seamless broadcast quality and product presentation. On the sales side, this involves using compelling sales techniques to highlight product features, create urgency around exclusive or limited-time items, and encourage bidding and purchase actions in real time. The host is also tasked with fostering an interactive community atmosphere by engaging viewers through chat, shout-outs, calls to action, and simple interactive games, all while maintaining flow and energy.

Additionally, the role requires logistical duties such as managing inventory before and after shows, packaging sold items accurately for shipping, and tracking sales and viewer metrics to inform future streaming strategies. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is necessary for handling data entry and reporting. This position also involves physical activity, including moving inventory boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
