Job Description
Rocket Farm Restaurants is a dynamic and innovative restaurant group that operates several popular dining establishments with a strong emphasis on culture and exceptional hospitality. At the heart of their philosophy is the belief: "We serve the person who is serving the guest." This approach highlights the importance of respect, dignity, and care not just for guests but for every team member working within the restaurants. The company fosters a workplace culture that promotes mutual support and values the contributions of each individual, creating a positive environment that extends from the kitchen to the restaurant floor. Rocket Farm Restaurants is known for its commitment to cultivating open, positive, and approachable work settings where team members feel valued and supported, which ultimately reflects in excellent guest experiences.
One of Rocket Farm Restaurants' notable ventures is Little Rey, an exciting concept inspired by Northern Mexican cuisine. Little Rey acts as a younger sister to the well-regarded Superica brand and is celebrated for its wood-roasted chicken al carbon, served in a vibrant and ultra-casual atmosphere. The brand distinguishes itself by delivering authentic flavors that honor traditional recipes and by embedding a lively, welcoming ambiance that attracts diverse customers. Little Rey has expanded to multiple locations, including Atlanta, Houston, Nashville, and Raleigh, and continues to seek passionate restaurant leaders eager to join their growing family.
The available positions of General Manager and Assistant General Manager at Little Rey require candidates who are ready to take on leadership roles that impact daily restaurant operations directly. These leaders are responsible for building and nurturing talented teams, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and driving efficient operational practices. Managerial duties include overseeing staff training and coaching, contributing to the financial success of each location, and promoting a team-first mentality. Rocket Farm Restaurants prioritizes leadership that models integrity and cultivates advancement opportunities within its workforce, aiming to foster an educational and collaborative environment where both employees and guests thrive together.
Candidates interested in these roles must be prepared for relocation if they do not reside in one of the specified markets. The company offers competitive compensation packages including the potential for generous quarterly bonus programs. General Managers are expected to bring over 10 years of progressive restaurant experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles, while Assistant General Managers should possess a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience including at least 2 years in management.
In addition to competitive pay, Rocket Farm Restaurants provides comprehensive benefits after 30 days of employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Employees also enjoy a supportive and ethical work culture, performance-based raises and promotions, paid time off, childbirth recovery leave, parental leave, and significant long-term retention bonuses. This emphasis on supporting their team underscores Rocket Farm Restaurants’ commitment to employee well-being and long-term career development within the hospitality industry.
